"Rigaut in rubber sheets"

rigaut in rubber sheets/climbing his golden rope/my mouth on him/he's dead/after an afternoon/of stealing grapes and being refused/although it's our clinic death/hold the rule against my breast/strangers/illustrated/we plot the entrance/of the bullet/mark it/ picturing our black/scorched vortex/and permit salty lips/to burn together/best friends/powder burns/the charcoal of our hair/shading the sheets/as feathers fall/strangers/illustrated/(don't) illustrate it.

Bonjour Jean-Luc,
Our band have a Jacques Rigaut obsession, and I am very much looking forward to reading your book as soon as it is available. My wife and I run the only independent bookstore in the city of Bath, England, and if you are ever in town, you are welcome to visit us. Maybe, when your book is out, you might like to do a reading/event in England that we could help with? Our band is called Venus Bogardus. The song we wrote called 'Jacques Rigaut' is based on a dream that I had of sharing Rigaut's last 24 hours, and is one of our most popular songs when we play shows...

Any friend of Jacques is a friend of ours.
Sincerely,
James and Hannah
